== What are Integration Projects? ==&lt;br /&gt;

Integration Projects (IPs for short) are ZIP files containing every Data/Buildings/Scripts by the creator. They usually receive updates when time comes, there are a lot of good examples of integration projects like: [[EG881 Integration Project]], [[Mn10 Integration Project]], etc. Integration Projects began in 2011, with the first one being made by EG881.&lt;br /&gt;

The first integration project was created in 2011 by EG881 to enable multiple buildings to be released at the same time. After that, Mn10 and other users started creating their own IPs, like SS Showcase  and E1512 in 2015 and more.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&#039;&#039;&#039;Multiplayer&#039;&#039;&#039; is a proposed development by &#039;&#039;&#039;eventhorizon&#039;&#039;&#039; that would allow multiple players to enter the same [[buildings]] via a server. It would be an expansion of the already existing Engine Contexts feature that could theoretically allow multiple instances of SBS and load many buildings online. This feature is still in early development.&lt;br /&gt;
== Design Ideas ==&lt;br /&gt;
#the SBS engine would send graphics rendering calls to the clients, possibly using a communications protocol designed by eventhorizon,&lt;br /&gt;
 like &amp;quot;Second Life&amp;quot;. Clients would also have to handle collision detection, so all of that would have to be moved from SBS to the frontend.&lt;br /&gt;
#A network frontend would be added to the client version of Skyscraper, a network backend would be made for the server version (a wrapper around the SBS engine)&lt;br /&gt;
#All Ogre code would probably have to be removed from SBS and moved to the frontend, SBS would then have to make calls to the frontend (direct C++ function calls can&#039;t be done in this situation, it would have to be message passing)&lt;br /&gt;

Between this is Visual Basic versions of Skyscraper 1.1, the C++ version was started in June 2005 and simultaneous versions of VB and C++ were released until the VB version was discontinued in mid 2006.  The simulator became relatively stable in 2008 and the focus was put on the [[Triton Center]], the simulator was released when the Triton Center was completed.&lt;br /&gt;

The Crystal Space engine was dropped in favor of Ogre (which took &amp;quot;a lot of work&amp;quot; to port the simulator over), this was done because Ogre had &amp;quot;better features&amp;quot; and supported things like the &amp;quot;Caelum sky system&amp;quot;.  Interestingly enough Crystal Space development stopped not that long after (after they put out a 2.0 release), and the engine is now discontinued, Ogre is still being developed.&lt;br /&gt;
