Europa Passage Hamburg is a large‑scale, seven‑storey‑over‑six‑basement mixed‑use complex located in the heart of Hamburg’s Inner City, directly between the Jungfernstieg and the historic shopping district. It is one of the most architecturally ambitious retail‑and‑office hybrids of its era and type in Germany, combining a five‑level shopping mall, a full business centre above, and a deep multi‑storey underground car park below. The building features a complete vertical transport system supplied by '''Lutz''' and '''ThyssenKrupp''', including high‑capacity mall lifts and dedicated office elevators serving the upper floors.<br>
The complex consists of '''five public shopping levels''' (U1, E1, E2, O1, O2), topped by '''five floors of office and service space''' (O3–O7) forming the Europa Kontor, and underpinned by a '''five‑level basement car park'''. The central atrium stretches the full height of the mall, creating one of the most dramatic interior spaces in any German shopping centre.<br>
The Europa Passage is my favourite shopping centre in all of Germany, and for this project I’m pushing for a higher level of polish: a photo‑realistic exterior, accurate atrium proportions, and fully modelled glass lifts that reflect the real building’s atmosphere.
A significant amount of work has already been completed, but there is still much to refine before the building reaches the standard I’m aiming for. The release is planned for later this year, though timelines may shift as development progresses.
