{{OB}}{{db}} This build introduces the new Access Control feature, authored by Matt Inskeep with coding help from AI. You should go through the documentation for it, but it now allows for restricting access to floors from what I've been trying, using key badges. Matt had previously made the keyswitch graphics that are used in the simulator. Two demo buildings were made to showcase this feature - "Simple - Access Control.bld" and "Simple - Access Control DD.bld", and a control panel window was made for it. An easy way to review the documentation for it is on GitHub using their [https://github.com/eventhorizon5/skyscraper/blob/master/AccessControl.md markdown viewer]. The other fixes are mostly done by me using AI, but I was able to fix the frame timing issues, so that vsync is no longer needed; the simulator runs great and even better with high FPS and vsync turned off. This solves an issue for one user who reported that vsync wasn't working for them. The camera no longer bounces while riding a vehicle. I also made some more vehicle fixes, so that vehicles will now disable along with the surface they're riding on, so that you can have them on a floor of a building for example, and they'll stay on that floor instead of falling through when the floor is disabled. I've added a demo car to the Triton Center building on floor P1 to showcase this. I fixed a performance issue that was affecting some buildings with lots of models, it was running a reparenting check for the elevators that was slowing things down. It now only runs that code if the model is a physical model, not for static models. Code blocks can now be pasted into the console and ran, when the building has a runloop active. Previously this would fail with buildings that had runloops. From [[October 4 2026 build|previous build]]: This build introduces the AddFloorIndicators elevator car command. This allows you to quickly create external floor indicators on all serviced floors of an elevator.
