Lighthouse Cruise Center is a work in progress ferry terminal created by Lighthouse Friesland. It will have a total of 6 Stahl elevators (4x goods and 2x passenger) and a classic Otis elevator in the telecommunications tower, although one of the Stahl good lifts was built. The ferry terminal is owned by L.F. Properties.

History

Cruise Terminal

The cruise terminal has started construction in August 1956 and was finished in May 1957. It's got 6 Stahl elevators since then, with it's rare classic manual doors. Later, in 1988, this building was renovated.

Telecommunications tower

Just a small history: The telecommunications tower, also known as the Teleskyscraper, was built in the 1930s, about 70 m high. It's got a single classic elevator in the 60s.
