This is a tutorial on how to download a new build of Skyscraper Simulator on a laptop or desktop that already has a pre-existing older build.

  1. Go to the downloads page on the main Skyscraper Simulator website.
  2. Both stable release and development versions are available for Windows, MacOS, Linux, and Raspberry Pi (Linux) devise. Click the version that your device supports.
  3. A pop-up should appear asking where to save your .zip file download. Click save.
  4. Go to the folder where your download is.
  5. Double click on the .zip file you just downloaded, then double click on the skyscraper folder.
  6. Press Ctrl+A and move all contents into your existing skyscraper folder.
  7. Replace already-existing files with the newer versions.
  8. Go to your skyscraper folder, scroll to Skyscraper.exe and double click on it to run the application.
  9. If you are downloading the latest development build, then copy everything within the skyscraper folder to your already-existing skyscraper folder. Replace anything that already exists there.
  10. If you get a message like "Windows Protected Your PC" when running the application, then click "More info" and then click "Run Anyway."
  11. Enjoy!
