This article describes a development build of Skyscraper Simulator.
It contains good information related to Skyscraper Simulator.

This build has some Call Station bugfixes, one of those was reported on the forum. It also has enhanced Mac support for the Application Support folder, where the INI files (skyscraper.ini and keyboard.ini), and the skyscraper.log file are now sourced from Application Support instead of the Resources folder. It also supports loading the intro music from Application Support too, which previous builds didn't.

I also found that Skyscraper doesn't work properly on MacOS versions before 10.15 with a Retina screen (support goes back to 10.13), so I'll look into a fix for that, I'm not sure if anyone on here uses those versions of MacOS. Mainly xteal's Retina screen fix solved the issue for 10.15 and later, but broke 10.13 and 10.14. I opened an issue report on Github for this.

Changelog:

  1. Make sure the associated controller serves the floor before creating call buttons
  2. When clicking on a call station, properly report the call station and panel mesh instead of just the button panel
  3. Write screenshots and skyscraper.log files to data path instead of main folder (resources folder on Mac)
  4. On Mac, copy skyscraper.ini and keyboard.ini to Application Support folder if needed
  5. use data path copies of skyscraper.ini and keyboard.ini files instead of main ones
  6. Try loading the intro sound file from the data path first instead of just the main location
