Line Tower[edit source]
Welp… I can't joke around with Line Tower anymore I guess. Joao84704 (talk) 09:02, 14 February 2024 (CST)
- You can still joke about it in other ways as long as it's not overly repetitive of asking when it'll be done as I will be done when I say it is. Elevator1512 (talk) 09:22, 14 February 2024 (CST)
One more rule[edit source]
Please add that rule:
9. No insulting other people! Lighthouse Friesland (talk) 13:42, 8 June 2024 (CDT)
- That's a good idea, I didn't consider that until now, thanks. Elevator1512 (talk) 13:43, 8 June 2024 (CDT)
- And add rule #10: No impersonating other users
- I have an impersonator on scratch.mit.edu called Lighthouse_FriesIand Lighthouse Friesland (talk) 13:47, 8 June 2024 (CDT)
- I don't have a Scratch account, though have you reported the impersonator? Elevator1512 (talk) 13:48, 8 June 2024 (CDT)
- Yes Lighthouse Friesland (talk) 13:49, 8 June 2024 (CDT)
- Okay, I added the rule and an example of what violates it. Elevator1512 (talk) 13:52, 8 June 2024 (CDT)

Don't directly copy from the old Wiki.[edit source]
The title says it all. Like what E1512 once said, it is better to rewrite in our own words, regardless whether the original articles' authors are still active or not. This may need to be officially added by an admin if I (or other people) see more articles here being directly copied from there.

- I'll definitely add that to the current rules. I did check Hayate TVB Tower and reworded most of the stuff to as what I would have written based on what was available. Elevator1512 (talk) 08:49, 1 August 2024 (CDT)
- Thanks for this. I was also recently modifying the Integration Projects page to remove any direct copy-paste stuff as much as possible. MelvinMan10 (talk) 09:31, 1 August 2024 (CDT)
- Note to Mn10, I have now created a new template dedicated to checking for articles that were copy-pasted from the old wiki so they can be rewritten to their own words. Tagged articles will also automatically be categorized under Category:Articles that need rewriting. Elevator1512 (talk) 23:03, 2 August 2024 (CDT)

Thanks again for the usual.[edit source]
Thanks for hiding and deleting any directly copied content that I noticed. One more thing to be done would be to hide the creation note of the pages Andersville and Diamond City that displays the original content which EG881 wrote on the old Wiki. MelvinMan10 (talk) 09:57, 13 August 2024 (CDT)
- Done. If there's anything else to request, such as more descriptions copied from the old wiki, then I'll hide those too. Elevator1512 (talk) 10:21, 13 August 2024 (CDT)
Don't use sexist language (on content pages)[edit source]
Even though most users here and there are male, there are a few female users, so it is not a good idea to use "he", "him", and "his" to refer to a single person whose gender is unknown*. Rewording any sentence would be better like what I have done at these pages. The only exception possible would be when "referring to other people when talking with each other on a user talk page."
*Even when the gender is known, it's still better to reword.
