Because I may unexpectedly update an older building, my buildings (including building-specific scripts) will '''no longer have''' the most recent month and year of revision in their filenames. (However, the format <span style="color:green;">"Building Name (Address).bld"</span> is still used for some places in [[Tranquility City]].) The only things with a year label would be commonly used scripts such as "Deco2023" and "[[AutomaticDoor2013]]."
It is not fully related to some users' comments this time, but it is directly related to the simulator's recent changes. Initially, the filler walls in external mesh weren't cut properly. Luckily that this issue was quickly fixed after I pinpointed the buildings with such issues. In addition, while testing [[August 16 2025 build|this build]], I found out that the landscape was not cut the intended way in [[DRH]]. With all of these, I cannot keep the links at the main meeting point where people just download the [[buildings]], face several errors, and post about them almost every day.


Therefore, ''please'' kindly back up the building files on your end before installing any new update, just in case anything goes wrong. Additionally, if [[City|eventhorizon's city test]] does not load due to my change, you can either:
By keeping my IP isolated here, people would have more time to read what I said before deciding whether to download or not, which should lessen any possible error reports.
*Rename my buildings to match with the name stated in the "[[City|City.bld]]" file, or
*Privately modify your copy of the said file, changing the loaded buildings' names in the code to match with mine.

After having finished the atrium on the 2<sup>nd</sup>-3<sup>rd</sup> floors, I had an idea of modifying the 5<sup>th</sup> floor. To begin with, I extended the west and east departments on this floor 10 ft. northwards, meaning that the Freight and Patient Transport elevators now open to their dedicated lobbies*, instead of a hallway linking the entire floor. However, I made it possible to walk around this floor's entirety by simply opening some doors (''without'' having to unlock them first) and going through them, unlike on the 4<sup>th</sup> floor where each elevator lobby is totally isolated from the other ones.

Additionally, while laying out the 5<sup>th</sup> floor's new look, I decided to combine the 28<sup>th</sup> and 29<sup>th</sup> floors into one double-height floor, renaming the latter to 28A in the process.

Download links and related information[edit source]

All of the following releases are intended for the RC4 and RC5 builds, and requires at least a quad-core CPU with at least 32 GB of RAM.


Installation instructions:

  1. Click on a preferred download link and download the file to any folder you can find easily.
  2. Open the downloaded package in your preferred program, then open the folder with the same name as the archive.
  3. If done correctly, you should see the "buildings", "data", and other script folders.
  4. Select ALL listed folders inside and copy them to your Skyscraper root folder, replacing all files when prompted.


Note to everybody:

  1. Please (in)directly credit me if you want to take photos/videos of my buildings.
  2. There are also some members who created real-life buildings, possibly because those places are their favorites.
    1. This means that buildings in this IP that may resemble real ones were created for the same reasons mentioned above.
    2. But if you want me to delete a building, please give me a very nice reason, as well as an absolute proof of your relations to the real place.
  3. Do not simply steal my screenshots regardless of their details. It is simple to press F11 to take one of your own.

It is not fully related to some users' comments this time, but it is directly related to the simulator's recent changes. Initially, the filler walls in external mesh weren't cut properly. Luckily that this issue was quickly fixed after I pinpointed the buildings with such issues. In addition, while testing this build, I found out that the landscape was not cut the intended way in DRH. With all of these, I cannot keep the links at the main meeting point where people just download the buildings, face several errors, and post about them almost every day.

By keeping my IP isolated here, people would have more time to read what I said before deciding whether to download or not, which should lessen any possible error reports.

TL;DR: The recent developments has broken several buildings, so only either RC4 or RC5 should be used to run my buildings for the time being.

Recent updates to DRH (San Francisco Building)[edit source]
