Note about my fictional buildings

As I have successfully built only three hospitals for my IP, some people may wonder if I may create a new hospital again. I have to announce here that I won't create any more hospitals in the future, as simply creating a new building for DRH and SRH took me a while, and hospitals are hard to built for me for the following reasons:

1. There are several "secret rooms" off-limits to the public, such as an operating room. Therefore, such rooms can only be created as a "large empty room" without smaller ones inside.
2. I cannot think of a hospital's layout on my own, as it is not something that I go in real life as often as a mall.
   • I don't like to memorize and copy from a real one either, as it may cause me to be "visited" at a real-life hospital unexpectedly in case of any sickness or injury.
   • I also don't want any related parties to make me remove any kind of "partially real building" at all. Therefore, I must find a compromise between "my own ideas" and "copying from a real building."
   • With these two reasons, I decided to trim down the Diamond Heart Building from 14 to 6 floors. Not only was this done to prevent creating something that may resemble any real hospital, but also to be considerate to users with slower computers. (There are already some significant details in the San Francisco Building.)
3. Additionally, as working life lasts more than studying life for most people, I have decided against creating a new office building, to prevent accidentally or purposely copying from a real one, which may cause myself or other related people to be visited unexpectedly during the working hours.
4. For the same reason as #3 above, I will also NOT built any residential building, to prevent copying a layout from a residence of myself or other people I know in real life.
   • On the contrary, it is typically safer to built a hotel or a mall based on a real one. This is because in real life, I can easily stay or shop at a different place from the one I used as an idea of my fictional buildings instead (unlike hospitals, where I must selected according to "the doctors' specialty" or "fastest waiting time"). Therefore, only hotels and malls will be my specialty for within the foreseeable future.
   • As I spent my time in educational institutions only for a few years in my life, it is also safe to build them based on a real one, as people typically cannot see me at those real-life places after my graduation. However, as I don't have much ideas for creating those kinds of buildings as much as in the past, such places are not my specialty anymore.
5. With all of the above, I will not create new residential buildings in this sim at all. There will also be no more independent projects that involve hospitals and office buildings; I will instead modify or add to the current ones as time permits.
   • Combined with this statement, Miriam Tower will be my last office building in this sim for a very long time.
