Skyscraper Wiki:Policy

To improve the quality of the wiki, I have decided to follow Jenn and create some rules on the wiki to improve standards on how pages and discussions are handled.

1. No spamming pages! This includes advertisement links to external sites.
2. No low-effort edits that decrease the quality of a page. I want the wiki to be as good quality while having as many buildings represented here as possible.
3. Do not bother content creators about release dates! Once they decide that their content is ready for release will said content be released and available.
4. This is not the place to complain about your account being banned / deleted from the Skyscrapersim forum! (Especially if you are under 18 when you had the account)
5. No repetitive questions! When you get an answer you don't like from someone, please don't spam the same question over and over! It will most likely upset said someone.
6. Only one account is needed. Subsequent accounts (including accounts designed to impersonate other users) will be blocked indefinitely. (with the main account being blocked for a short time)
7. Username must not represent a real-life company or business brand. They also need to be appropriate and SFW (Safe For Work).
8. There is a restriction on editing pages for IP addresses and newly-registered users due to spam. Visit Skyscraper Wiki:7/20 for more information.
9. Do not insult other users! Multiple violations of this may result in a temporary or indefinite block.
10. No impersonating existing users. (example: real user is Lighthouse Friesland; impostor is Lighthouse FriesIand - lowercase L substituted for uppercase I)
11. Do not directly copy from the old wiki onto here. It is better to write everything in our own words.
12. Use gender neutral language on articles (no using he/him/his to refer to unknown gender).
13. No AI generated content on any buildings' screenshots, especially for locations that may resemble real-life ones, as doing so may cause as it may cause whoever managed the real life building location to request the removal of any buildings from being available for download. This doesn't just apply to Mn10's buildings, it applies to any buildings based on real life locations.

More rules will be added if needed.
